Jack Carroll (Jack Haley) has his first marital disagreement which results in his wife leaving him to stay with her mother on the eve of his vacation. He awakens the next morning alone in their bedroom and decides to go forward with his holiday plans of treasure hunting in the Nevada desert. Upon learning of his departure for Reno, his wife draws a different conclusion about the purpose of his trip and follows him there. Bank robbers, mistaken hotel rooms, and other jealous spouses complicate matters.

"No opportunity for a slapstick set piece is ignored throughout the film, culminating with the inevitable "wild ride" through the desert." — Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
